Catering Supervisors

We're looking for catering supervisors to help run the Snack Shack, Cosy Cabin and Munch Bar this season.

The suitable candidate will preferably have catering experience with a mature and sensible attitude. You will be enthusiastic and have a dynamic personality. You will be able to work on your own initiative, communicate with all levels of the team and lead the way in customer service.

Site Support Supervisors

We're also looking for some Tip-Top-Twiggles to support our Site Supervisors in providing the best customer service possible.

The suitable candidate will be able to work with a large team and have experience in customer service. You will be adabtable, fast on your feet and keen to help out. You'll preferably have first aid training, a knowledge of using tills and EPOS and experience of driving boats.

Seasonal/casual vacancies

We have a number of vacancies in the following areas of BeWILDerwood, starting from March 2013. Seasonal hours to include weekend work, pay is above age-related minimum wage:

Storytelling & Events (show off your dramatic & creative skills!) Our storytelling is more of a performance, so you'll be required to learn a script, use a microphone and enchant the crowds (often quite big crowds in summer time!) with tales of the characters that live in the world of BeWILDerwood. Acting skills are a big plus!
Front of house (welcoming the humans in with a big smile)
Catering (food glorious food!)
Boats (transport humans into our world, introducing them to the story of BeWILDerwood)
Retail (come and help sell goodies in the Bizarre Bazaar)
Park Rangers (making sure everyone's happy and playing safe)
Cleaners (helping the Twiggle Team to keep the park spick and span)

Experience is not always necessary, as long as you are willing to learn! All applications may require a CRB check on appointment.

What would the hours be?

Hours are variable and seasonal - School holidays is when we need lots more staff. Most common shifts range from 6 to 8 hours. We have a few 3 and some 4 hours. Staff are usually divided up into areas such as Front of Site (Ticket Office and Shop), Ranging the park area and structures or Catering. We also have an Events team and the BeWILDerboaters
