The woods look Twiggletastic! 🍂
Look up and watch the vibrant, warming colours of the leaves fall one by one and the shades of red, orange, and flaming yellows dance around you in the breeze. Why not dance with them? The Twiggles in the trees will dance with you too!
Psst! Don’t forget to wear your best stomping boots so you can crunch your way around the woods and sploosh in any puddles too!
Spooky jokes and magic spells🦇
Since it’s October, you’re sure to spot some of our favourite BeWILDerwood characters! Snagglefang might pop out to say hello (beware… he may tell you one of his “hilarious” jokes!)
It’s also Hazel the Good Wood Witch's favourite time of the year and she’s usually out and about finding ingredients for her peculiar potions! Zam Zoo Zam your way over to the Storytelling Stage to spot her and Snagglefang.
Face paint and crafts go spooooky 🎨
Jump through bundles of leaves and make your way to the Face Paint Pavilion and Big Hat! Festoon your face with some Halloween themed face paint and craft your very own Lantern that you can take home (or bring it along to the Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade in the evening!)
Don’t forget all these activities are included in your ticket, yippee!
Warming drinks ☕
Want a break from running WILD and need warming up a little bit more? Head over to Cosy Cabin or Munch Bar and get yourself one of the tastiest autumn drinks ever – pumpkin spiced latte! Yum! And you can’t go wrong with a classic hot chocolate with the soopa special bits and bobs on top (whipped cream and marshmallows!)
The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade 🎃✨
As well as daytime adventures in the woods, it’s also time for the Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade, yippee! See the woods in a whole new light as you enter the woods after dark.
This is a separate ticketed evening event and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are just £12.50 and selling fast! Find out more about this special event.
