BeWILDerwood Cheshire Operations Manager

The Twiggles are on the look out for a tip top Operations Manager for their newest site in Cheshire!

As a member of the Senior Management team, the Operations Manager for BeWILDerwood Cheshire is one of the most senior and key positions for the successful set up and operation for our new home.

Taking a hands-on approach to leading the day to day running of a number of departments, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the delivery of top-notch customer experience, ensuring that our visitors have the best day ever throughout the park.

Responsible for the line management of all operational departments (catering, retail, events and front of house), the role will also work with managers, supervisors and seasonal staff (the Twiggle Team) to ensure all health and safety procedures relating to park operations are being followed. They will also ensure all day to day and immediate decision-making needs of the business, in conjunction with the Park Manager, are met.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in managing and developing large, diverse teams, with a passion for delivering tip top customer service and experience of venue management. As this role also assumes responsibility for the BeWILDerwood ticketing and EPOS systems, acting as a first port of call for solving problems, IT literacy is a must.

BeWILDerwood Cheshire Office Manager

We are currently searching high and low for an experienced Office Manager for our newest site in Cheshire, opening in Spring 2020!

The Office Manager will be responsible for the management of a busy and vibrant main office for BeWILDerwood Cheshire. From managing queries, to taking bookings and ensuring the building is in tip top condition, with everything it (& everybody in it!) needs to work successfully, this is a varied and challenging role.

Starting before the park opens, the successful candidate will also have the rare opportunity to utilise their knowledge to support the Park Manager in setting up an efficient Office environment for our new team and visitors alike.

The role will also include light PA duties such as diary management, minute taking, collating paperwork and managing travel arrangements for the Senior Manager Team. A keen eye for detail is also essential as this role is also involved in reporting figures up to Board level.

The position would suit someone who thrives in taking ownership of their department, working proactively and accurately without the need for significant supervision.

Retail (Norfolk)

Come and help sell weird and wonderful goodies in the Bizarre Bazaar

Make sure our customers are looked after in the Bizarre Bazaar. In this role you will work with the Retail Manager to price and put out stock, clean bits and bobs and sell our WILD and wonderful products.

Ticket Office/Front of House (Norfolk)

Welcoming everyone in with a big smile!

You will be the first people our customers meet. You’ll be required to have a happy, smiley personality and be welcoming to all our visitors at the start of their BeWILDerwood adventure and a cheery goodbye when they wander wearily home. This will include working on tills, greeting customers and providing assistance to members of the public.

Park Rangers (Norfolk)

Making sure everyone’s happy and playing safe.

Maximise the experience of each and every visitor by helping them stay safe and have fun while playing on BeWILDerwood’s various play structures. This will include working with a team of Park Rangers to complete morning, daily and evening safety tasks. Manning structures such as slides and zip wires to ensure visitors are adhering to our safety guidelines and helping to maintain a cleanly site.

Storytelling & Events (Norfolk)

Show off your dramatic & creative skills!

You will bring the books of BeWILDerwood to life through arts and crafts, face painting and storytelling! You’ll be required to learn the stories and enchant the crowds (often quite big crowds in summer time!) with tales of the characters that live in the world of BeWILDerwood. Acting and/or art skills are a big plus

Catering (Norfolk)

Food! Glorious! Food!

It’ll be your job here to keep our visitors fed and watered and full of beans for a full day of playing and exploring. You’ll be delivering a super menu for up to 3000 visitors per day, working to a strict hygiene code, providing excellent customer service and making top quality grub.

Boats (Norfolk)

Transport visitors into our world, introducing them to the story of BeWILDerwood

Give our visitors their first taste of the wonderful and magical characters that live within our woods. Drive the boats between the Long Lagoon and the Scaaaaary Lake – boat experience is great but not essential!
