A new magical enchanting book launches with Red Sock event!

Fans of Twiggles, Boggles and all things BeWILDerwood are anticipating the latest book in the series, ‘A BeWILDermuddle’ written by Norfolk’s bestselling children’s author Tom Blofeld.

‘A BeWILDermuddle’ sees the arrival of a group of travelling Grubbles, and BeWILDerwood has organised a week of activities in their honour.

From Monday 2nd August to Sunday 8th August, come to BeWILDerwood in your red socks, join in the colourful, ‘Silly Sock Search’ trail weaving around the park, decorate a red sock with a message for the Grubbles, join in the ludicrously large red sock race and spot the first of the Grubbles camp settlements on the edge of the magical Long Lagoon!

Go Crocklebog crazy at Mildred's Crocklebog Capers!

From Saturday 28th to Monday 30th August come to BeWILDerwood, the curious tree house adventure park, to take part in Mildred’s Crocklebog Capers – a Crocklebog-inspired event where you can dress up for the Crockleclock Challenge, follow Mildred's Butterfly Bumble Trail and make an authentic Crocklebog handbag or tiara!

The Grubbles Green area will host the spectacular Crockleclock fancy dress challenge from 10am. Seize your chance to become a Crocklebog for the day so pop on your tiara and fairy wings and giggle through the challenge to see who beats the clock and gets the quickest time! Who will be crowned Crockleclock champion?

Get creative between 11am and 4pm when you can get sparkly with a spot of craft making by the thrill-seeking Wobbly Wires! Why not ...

Stomping, Stamping & Storytelling

If you go down to the woods today...you’re sure of a big ADVENTURE!  BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park on the Norfolk Broads is hosting a Twiggle Trail & Twiggle Tales weekend where brave explorers can venture deep into the woods in search of prizes, face painting and storytelling!

Between Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th August run WILD in the heart of BeWILDerwood to take part in the Stomping Stamp Twiggle Trail. Follow the cryptic clues and take the trail challenge to find out more about the famous characters who live in BeWILDerwood before venturing deep into the forest, further than you’ve ever dared before!

A spell of magical puppetry in the wild woods

Roll up, roll up! Get ready for one of the summer’s greatest shows in the whole of BeWILDerwood, Norfolk – Pippy’s Peculiar Puppet Show! Visit the award-winning curious treehouse adventure park between Monday 26th July and Saturday 1st August to enjoy enchanting puppet shows telling the fascinating story of the BeWILDerwood characters.

Be mesmerised by the magical summer pantomime performance which includes music, song and puppetry. Learn more about the curious lives of the BeWILDerwood characters including Swampy, Moss & Leaflette, The Witch, Mildred the Crocklebog and The Thornyclod Spider.

Crafty adventures in the WILD woods

Join in the Spring Half Term cheerfulness at BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park in Norfolk, with FarTree Festivities of craft and adventure, from Tuesday 1st to Sunday 6th June.

Between 11am and 4pm, head towards the thrill-seeking Wobbly Wires zip ride to absorb yourself in crafty craft-making activities and help the Twiggles make a FarTree in honour of Thornyclod Spider. Design and decorate a boot, a shoe, even a flip flop or two, and write a personalised message which will hang in the Tree for Thornyclod to see!  Why not make your very own magical FarTree with glitter and sparkly things?

BeWILDerwood Storyteller to attend giant City picnic

BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park, has teamed up with Sprowston Community High School to take part in a Giant Picnic Extravaganza on Monday 31st May for National Family Week.

A storytelling expert from the park will be there along with a member of the Twiggle Team to entertain the hundreds of families expected to turn up for the public event, which is one of the eight biggest Family Week Picnics planned across the whole of the UK.

Sheila, BeWILDerwood’s resident storytelling Twiggle, will be at the event to perform and bring to life stories from “A Boogle at BeWILDerwood”, which have been specially adapted to enable children to join in and dress up and become the mystical characters they encounter along the way.

Be a WILDer Dad this Father's Day at BeWILDerwood

For a perfect family day out on Father’s Day (June 20th 2010), BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park in Norfolk, welcomes the return of the popular WILD Father’s Day event, for which dad’s get in free!

BeWILDerwood, perfect for fun outdoor healthy play, has loads to offer children and adults of all ages. Take a glorious boat ride through the Dismal Dyke, investigate the magical tree houses, ride the fantastic zip wires, or test your skills on Tricky Tunnels, with ladders, walkways, tunnels, bridges, swinging ropes and much more! From South Wales to the Scaaaaary Lake!

One of 1100 balloons launched from the Bedwas Infants School in Caerphilly, Wales, has made its way across the country to end up in the Scaaaaary Lake at BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park.

Of the 1100 released by infant children at the school, 150 were found, with the BeWILDerwood balloon being the second furthest travelled, beat only by the one which floated a further six miles towards the coast, ending up in Catfield, near Hickling Broad.

After picking up the balloon in the Scaaaaary Lake, BeWILDerwood staff contacted the school and subsequently, the pupils have started researching Norfolk and mapping the course of the inflatable.
