BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park, is the only Norfolk attraction to have been shortlisted to receive either a Gold or Silver Award in the Large Visitor Attraction category of the national finals of the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence.
Simon Egan, co-founder of BeWILDerwood, said: “In October 2009, BeWILDerwood won the regional Enjoy England Awards and we are so excited that we have now been selected at a national level.
“The BeWILDerwood experience is the result of the vision and hard work of a team of dedicated people. What we offer visitors is very special indeed and we are delighted that our commitment will be rewarded nationally.”
2010 marks the 21st anniversary of the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence. The awards seek to promote and recognise the best places to visit and stay in England, from large hotels to small B&Bs and attractions of all sizes. All the winners have gone the extra mile to provide a memorable experience and have the highest standards of customer service.
In order to reach the finals, BeWILDerwood has had to prove itself within a wide range of criteria including, ‘commitment to excellent accommodation or facilities’ ‘high standards of customer care’, ‘care for the environment’, ‘innovative business ideas to attract new and repeat business’, and ‘accessibility for disabled guests’.
The finals of the awards will be held at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange on Friday 23rd April.
