Swampy's Silly Sock Day

Saturday 31st March

Dig out your most ridiculous socks and show them off with pride. If we think your socks are silly enough we'll donate £1 to Autism Anglia for each pair. Let’s see whose woollen wonders are the weirdest!

Due to the success of last year’s Silly Sock Day, our clever author Tom Blofeld is having another very special day here at BeWILDerwood with Autism Anglia to raise awareness of autism. It is a charity close to Tom’s heart and he thinks Autism Anglia do such soopa doopa, marvellous work that he is now a Vice President of the charity so he can help them continue to do marvellous work. Imagine! That means that 31st March is the day to dig out your most ridiculous socks, come over to BeWILDerwood and show them off with pride.

As you may know, the Grubbles like to mend and dye socks, so in celebration of our favourite travelling tribe, Swampy wants you to decorate a sock or two as well. Make yours the most amazing!

The Grubbles will be sporting their red socks (because they don’t have any other socks) and there’ll be lots dotted around in the trees too! Keep an eye out for them in our Silly Sock Search.
