Earlier this month Mr Tom was invited to RAF Lakenheath to meet all the Elementary School children and read to them.
Tom visited each class separately so we have a picture of him with a couple of classes here... what big smiles the children have! Can you spot Mildred?! We've posted the rest of the pictures on our Facebook page!
Whilst Tom was there we ran a competition for the children to win some BeWILDerwood-y goodies. They had to draw something BeWILDery so lots of creative minds were busy whirring around to come up with a winning drawing. Tom chose Alexis Stephens as the winner, with her picture of Mildred the Crocklebog. Tom chose her because he said that she "captured the Mildredness of Mildred" rather well!
Alexis comes all the way from Alaska - wow-wee! Well done Alexis. Here's a picture of her with Mr Tom and her prize of a basket full of BeWILDerwood-y goodies, how lovely!
