We receive literally thousands of requests for worthwhile causes. In the past, it has taken one of our Twiggles a lot of time to respond to each request and decide who to support. So we have decided to support two major charities, and a few causes very local to us in our immediate neighbourhood.
Our chosen charities:
Autism Anglia is a registered charity that promotes the welfare, education and care of children, young people and adults with autism in East Anglia and in doing so, provides support and assistance to their families and carers. They provide a range of services to enable people with autism to live as independently as possible and to experience choice and inclusion in society.
Our clever author, Tom Blofeld, is Vice Chairman of Autism Anglia and thinks that it’s a fantastic charity!
We will also support any requests that come through on behalf of EACH - East Anglia's Children's Hospices, which is a registered charity that cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs.
At our discretion, we will continue to support fundraising events in the NR12 postcode area.
If you would like us to support your fundraising please provide a letter headed document from the charity you are supporting, which authorises you to raise money on their behalf. The letter headed document from the charity must have your full name and also have the charity number and address on it. Please ensure that the covering letter or email states your full name and address.
If you are not fundraising for any of the above, then we are unable to support you. Please do consider this when contacting us as we'd ideally like to put our time and effort into helping our chosen charity rather than sorting through thousands of requests (and it means less paper is used so it saves our trees!).
For those charities that we support we will send two day pass vouchers along with a poster and a selection of leaflets/flyers for display at the event.
If you do not receive a response from us within three weeks, then unfortunately your request has been unsuccessful.
