Access Statement (or what wonderful facilities we have here!)
Disabled facilities
We have a certain amount of disabled play equipment and facilities. Every effort has been made to allow reasonable access to the park, however the upper woodland area, where the play structures are located, is naturally sloping and needs to be assessed as to individual needs.
Our BeWILDerboats
You can take prams and buggies on to our BeWILDerboats however it's a little bit more tricky with wheelchairs. So, there's an alternative route that you can use to enter the park - our Treacherous Trail - which is just as magical as the boat ride (and it gets you up and close to the Twiggle houses!)
We don't accept dogs but we can recommend a local kennel
Twiggles are scared of dogs so only guide dogs are allowed in BeWILDerwood. However, we get a lot of enquiries from holiday makers who bring their dogs on holiday, so we recommend Crostwick Boarding Kennels & Cattery. They're a 12 minute drive away from us (approx. 6.7 miles) and they will take dogs in at late notice (dependent on available space and vaccinations - dogs must have been administered the "kennel cough" vaccine 1 week prior to going into the kennel). Give them a call on 01603 737240 and speak to Jayne.
Ticket Office
You can purchase your ticket upon arrival however, to avoid queuing and ensure speedy entry into the park you can now book online.
Great food outlets
There are 3 outlets dotted around BeWILDerwood to de-hungerise hungry families. Have a look at our Food & Drink section to find out more.
Picnic areas and lots of seating
All over the place. But to be more specific, we have seating dotted around the main structures of the park. Some comfy so you can sit and watch if you get tired. Some uncomfortable wooden seats so you get back out playing as soon as possible! All 3 food outlets have seating as well, however the Munch Bar seating area is specifically for Munch Bar customers only.
Toilets
There are 2 blocks inside BeWILDerwood and 1 block in the car park (Follow the wee signs around the park to find them!).
Baby changing
Facilties are available at 2 of our 3 toilets blocks (the block near the Munch Bar and the block in the car park).
Park Rangers on site (otherwise known as The Twiggle Team!)
To help you find what you need, round up lost kids and ensure fair play throughout.
First Aid facilities
Nee Nar Nee Nar... If you hurt yourself and need help, look out for a member of the Twiggle Team who will make sure you get mended and back out playing as soon as possible! The majority of the team have been first aid trained so you're never too far away from someone who can help.
Loads of free parking
We have plenty of FREE parking, including designated disabled and coach parking, right by our door.
Great shop
Home of the strange, the wild and the weird, our Bizarre Bazaar is the shop to beat all shops. Come in, explore and enjoy. From the tiniest of Twiggle Door treats to the funkiest of fun things, we have something for everyone.
Shelter
Being a natural woodland site shelter from the sun and rain is everywhere. Our canvas sail covers offer further cover from the sun and rain.
Smoking areas
Twiggles don't like smoking (because it stains your teeth and makes your breath smell) so you are only permitted to smoke in the car park.
Public telephones
There are no public telephones within BeWILDerwood (all Twiggles and Boggles visit each other rather than calling!). However in cases of real emergency we can dial out to the real world.
Cash points
Twiggles use a currency called 'Bobletts' so there are no real world cash points within BeWILDerwood. The nearest cash point facility is in Wroxham. BeWILDerwood does not provide a cashback facility however cards are accepted throughout the park.
The Norfolk Broads Cycling Centre
The Norfolk Broads Cycling Centre is located in the car park at BeWILDerwood. You can hire quality bikes and tandems from Broadland Cycle Hire and obtain all the information you need to enjoy a pleasant ride along the country lanes around the park. Please note that bicycles are not permitted in BeWILDerwood.
